Mobile users now can identify callers with the help of the Yahoo. Yahoo mail has got a new feature to identify callers.



The New Yahoo Caller Id Feature


Yahoo has recently launched a Caller ID and photo upload features for its Mail app users. It will help to identify a caller from their email contacts list and also access their phone camera roll on a desktop.

Get the Mobile Application


The new features is now available from the App Store (iOS 4.13) and Google Play (Android 5.13). Mobile users can update their Yahoo Mail app and use these features.



How it Works?


The company says that the new Caller ID feature will show a user who is calling even if the number is not saved in your smartphone.

As soon as a user contacts you, the contact's name will surface with the call and Yahoo Mail will update names in your call history or when you dial.

How to activate Yahoo caller ID feature?


To enable this Yahoo Caller Id feature, go to Settings -> Phone -> "Call Blocking and Identification", toggle the switch for Yahoo Mail and save the settings. 



How to activate photo upload feature?


To enable photo upload feature, open the Yahoo Mail app on iOS or Android, go to Settings -> Photo upload and tap the "Upload photos" toggle.

Once the new photo upload feature is enabled, your recent camera roll photos will be instantly available when accessing your Yahoo Mail account on desktop.
